Here are some of the feature highlights: ##All New Cards Component The new Cards component unlocks a powerful new way to present data and provides developers with the ultimate control and flexibility over the user interface. The Cards region provides easy customization of nearly every aspect of the card UI, including the layout, appearance, icon, badge, media, advanced HTML expressions that support client-side templating, and for the first time, the ability to define multiple actions per card. This means that you can include any number of actions, such as links or buttons, on a single card, all without writing a single line of code. ##Automations Automations are a conditional set of actions that are automatically triggered by changes that occur within database tables or remote data sources. They are used to monitor data and then perform the appropriate action (examples are auto-approving specific requests and sending email alerts). ##An Oracle Developers move from Oracle to Microsoft ### The Big Move Moving into a new technology stack with an Oracle background hasn't been as smooth sailing as thought to believe , as an Oracle Developer you tend to try and force Oracle standards into a Database that does not understand you for example joining tables. ``` SELECT * FROM TABLE A , TABLE B WHERE A.ID = B.ID(+); ``` Attempting to run this this will end up in failure therefore adopting the *New Standards* is key ``` SELECT * FROM TABLE A RIGHT OUTER JOIN TABLE B ON B.ID = A.ID; ``` ###Something is Missing... I've been taking Oracle DBMS Packages for granted , moving over to MS SQL Server and trying to pull a simple Table DDL. In Oracle I could run the following: ``` SELECT dbms_metadata.get_ddl('TABLE', table_name) FROM USER_TABLES ``` However unfortunately there does not seem to be a quick and easy way to grab table ddl in MS SQL Server.
